Walter Polyakov

Professional photographer, photo artist with more than 20 years of work experience in photo studios and various off-site orders.
They say about their work, photo art and large solo exhibitions:
"I do not agree with those who believe that photography as an art is frozen, which includes frozen moments, lifeless images. In my opinion, a good photograph "talks" to the viewer, it tells about people's destinies, their feelings and experiences. What I like best is working in the salon with models, loosening them up, showing their interaction, creating living portraits. It was good to cooperate with expectant mothers, creating the exhibition "Time of Hope". Of course, photo landscapes also speak to the viewer, but if you think about it - man is also a part of nature, so I don't see any contradictions here. When creating photo portraits, we enrich each other - both me as a photographer, models and the viewer.
I am like a storyteller who tries to appeal to people to remember, feel, hear and love through my works. Those genuine eyes that make every parent's heart flutter in genuine love are the truest emotions that the everyday person has forgotten in their busyness. "The time of hope" was the sanctity of waiting, but "Children of Latvia" is our paradise, where every child's emotion is an important confirmation for our future."

* Exhibition of three photo authors at the House of Blackheads, with the photo series "Viņa" (2005).
* Participant of the exhibition "Imagine Yourself" in Madona (2007).
* Personal exhibition at the Riga Latvian Society's house "Cerību laiks" (2007).
* Riga Central Library presentation photo book "One day in the life of the library" (2010).
* The traveling personal exhibition "Latvijas pärni" in the E. Smilģas Theater Museum, Riga Gallery, Forum Cinemas, cultural centers, museums, libraries, etc. in many Latvian cities (2012 and still).
* Photo project – traveling exhibition "With Roots in the Homeland" (2014). Exhibited in 19 Latvian cities during the year.

Areas of professional activity: Salon photo sessions: for babies, children, families - expecting a baby, at weddings, family events, etc., for couples, portraits, privately, animals. Professional photos: for publicity on the Internet and in press publications, for advertising and marketing purposes (including photos of goods and services).
Outdoor photography: for marketing and advertising, event photo reports, weddings, anniversaries, events (exhibitions, concerts, contests, shows, etc.).
